In addition to donating products, Hospira has made a total of $200,000 in initial cash grants to the Red Cross and to the companys partners, which include AmeriCares, Direct Relief International, Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB) and Project Hope. Hospira also will match employee contributions dollar for dollar up to $50,000 through the Hospira Foundation.

Hospira will continue to monitor disaster relief efforts in Haiti, and will evaluate opportunities to provide additional assistance as further needs and information become available.
